2 December 2025

Blue Phoenix is pleased to announce that the acquisition of Meldgaard Recycling and Meldgaard Sustain representing Meldgaard’s complete IBA business in Denmark and abroad has now been finalized.

The integration into the Blue Phoenix family of businesses was marked today by an internal event at the main location in Kolding, Denmark with attendance of among others Blue Phoenix Global CEO, Paul Night and CFO, Arjen de Jong.

The two companies bring with them more than 25 years of valuable experience within IBA processing and IBAA recycling and around 75 employees. Noticeably, Blue Phoenix will also be adding a fleet of advanced mobile plants for IBA processing which will significantly strengthen our market position in Europe, the U.K. and the U.S.

Within the coming months, Meldgaard Recycling and Meldgaard Sustain and their activities across markets will be integrated fully into the Blue Phoenix brand. We ask for your patience and understanding as a customer, supplier and partner to the businesses, as we work towards as smooth and effective an integration for you as possible.

We are sure that this acquisition will enable us to move closer still to our mission of nothing wasted, every resource reborn.

About Blue Phoenix

Blue Phoenix is a global resource company. Every day, we recover value from materials others discard. From incinerator bottom ash and construction waste to contaminated soil and tar-containing asphalt. We specialise in transforming complex materials into renewed resources for construction and infrastructure.

Operating on four continents, Blue Phoenix teams are on a daily mission to shift the world’s mindset from seeing waste as a problem to recognising it as potential. Through smart sorting, recycling and recovery, we give materials new life - with safety as our core value and guiding principle.

We partner with clients, plant operators, contractors, regulators and the wider society to create a truly circular economy. Working together towards our mission of nothing wasted, every resource reborn.
