Our environmental impact

At Blue Phoenix, we turn waste into valuable construction materials, giving resources a second life. Our recycled aggregates reduce energy use in production and remove the need for quarrying virgin materials. Over the past year, Blue Phoenix has been conducting LCA of the IBAA produced at our Blue Phoenix facilities in the UK, allowing us to provide you with accurate carbon savings for using our recycled aggregates versus the average for both virgin and other recycled aggregates according to the UK Government’s indices.
Choosing the right materials for a construction project can really reduce the carbon used in a build. Product-specific EPDs provide our partners with the precise data they need to make more informed and sustainable choices.
