ECO Filler

ECO filler is a certified material that is produced during the thermal treatment process of asphalt containing tar. Fillers constitute an essential element in the asphalt mixture. During this process of drying out, both the flue gases and the cooling air cool down the minerals in the lower chamber. Both blowing flue gases out and making the cooling air contain particulate material. The cooling air contains particulate matter and its revitalisation takes place through a ceramic filter that captures the coarse ECO filler (0/500 µm) and the flue gases go through a fabric filter to separate the ECO filler particles. 

ECO filler has latent hydraulic properties which help to develop strength when the ECO filler is mixed with one or more types of cement. ECO filler is certified according to BRL 1804 standards and can be described as a sustainable product that is a certified material that can be used as a filler in the production of concrete.
